Job summary

Watco Logistics is seeking an LTL Accounts Payable Coordinator to ensure timely invoicing and accurate AP handling in our TMS. The role is office-based with frequent collaboration across teams and suppliers, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Ideal candidates will have accounting or finance experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a collaborative mindset focused on process compliance and timely problem resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Able to work with others and positively influence coworkers.
• Strong phone and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, submit, and communicate daily with customer on invoicing.
• Account for accurate, complete, and timely handling of Accounts Payable for all assigned profit and cost centers.
• Review vendor invoices to ensure they are properly approved compared to the appropriate purchase order.
• Clarify questionable vendor invoice items, prices, quantities, and approvals with purchasing.
• Communicate daily with internal teams to target problems on past‑due accounts and identify next steps.
• Comply with accounting principles and company procedures.
