Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites you to join our LTCR Inspector team in Mount Pleasant, TX. As Inspector V, you will conduct on-site inspections and investigations at long-term care facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
• Experience conducting investigations preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and investigations into abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Prepare written reports detailing deficiencies and regulatory findings.
• Testify at hearings or court proceedings when needed.
• Maintain documentation with clear narrative supporting determinations.
• Travel up to 80% and be on-call as required.
