Job summary

Omnicare, Inc. is seeking a licensed pharmacist for our Long Term Care Pharmacy division in Nevada. The role focuses on ensuring accurate order entry, maintaining pharmacy security and adhering to delivery schedules during a part‑time schedule.

You will verify technician orders, check labels for accuracy, and assist in sterile IV preparations as required. Ideal candidates have LTC experience, IV certification, and immunization credentials or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and professional interaction with patients and staff.
• Active Nevada pharmacist license in good standing is required.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and verify orders.
• Check labels, packaging and orders for accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products when required.
• Maintain inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Follow DEA/state regulations including HIPAA.
• Provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
