SpecialtyRx in Elizabethtown, KY is actively seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Long-Term Care pharmacy team. You will review orders, verify labels, and collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure safe, accurate medication delivery.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist with KY Board of Pharmacy license.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task reliably.
• Computer literacy with LTC software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions and administration.
• Ensure dispensed medicines are properly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other health team members regarding medication queries.
• Supervise preparation of medicines.
• Recommend therapy changes to physicians and staff when needed.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Maintain customers’ database with medical history and clinical data.
