Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare unit is hiring a licensed Pharmacist for a Long Term Care facility. This full-time role is non-customer-facing and supports daily operations in a secure dispensing environment.

You will ensure accurate order entry, maintain pharmacy security, verify technician entries, prepare sterile IV products if required, and provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position offers competitive benefits and a 2:30pm-1am schedule with 7 on/7 off, 35 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be a Virginia licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV certification or experience preferred.
• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
• Check labels and orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required.
