Job summary

CVS Health's Omnicare LTC pharmacy is seeking a licensed California pharmacist to join a full-time team delivering medication management and dispensing services within long-term care facilities. The role includes evening shifts, weekend and holiday coverage as needed, and adherence to HIPAA and state regulations.

You will supervise technicians, verify orders, maintain inventory, and ensure accurate labeling, while contributing to a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in California in good standing.
• Experience or ability to obtain IV certification and immunization certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of controlled substances regulations (DEA).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders and maintain pharmacy security.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy and completeness.
• Check drug packaging, labeling, and dosage accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products when required.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.
• Adhere to HIPAA and state regulations and maintain perpetual inventory for controlled substances.
