Torrey Holistics seeks an LTC Overhaul Specialist & Controls Training Advisor in Dallas, TX. You will lead complete LTC rebuilds, run diagnostic tests, interpret schematics, and verify systems function safely.

The role blends hands-on repair with structured training development for technicians and customers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in transformer/LTC work, strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, and a passion for safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with power transformers and LTCs.
• Background in transformer maintenance, assembly, testing, or field service.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Execute with excellence: perform complete LTC rebuilds and final checks.
• Run and document Hi-Pot, TTR, Ductor, and Megger tests to verify performance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control faults to root cause.
• Read and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Ensure controls, alarms, interlocks, CT wiring, and auxiliary systems function as designed.
• Champion quality and safety at every stage.
• Design and deliver training blending classroom theory with hands-on modules.
• Build durable SOPs, work instructions, and technical manuals.
• Evaluate skills via demonstrations and assessments to ensure mastery.
• Serve as SME for LTC systems, procedures, and control strategies.
• Produce accurate technical reports and test documentation.
• Advance safety, quality, productivity, and training effectiveness through continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales.
