Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. in Texas seeks a highly experienced electrical leader to oversee operation, maintenance, and construction of company-owned power infrastructure, including overhead lines, substations, transformers and related equipment.

You will coordinate work with engineers, utility personnel, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable power for production facilities. The role requires a minimum of ten years' electrical experience, a valid Texas Journeyman license, a driver's license,

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of ten years electrical experience.
  • Texas Journeyman Electrician license or Journeyman Lineman License (TDLR).
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to pass a respiratory fit test and pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Oil and gas experience preferred.
  • Experience with overhead power distribution up to 25kV.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair of company operated primary and secondary voltage electrical systems.
  • Evaluate and correct system issues at electrical installations, facilities, and well sites.
  • Evaluate load requirements for new production facilities and submit service requests to utilities.
  • Route development for right-of-way of overhead power distribution systems.
  • Conductor sizing and coordination for overhead power distribution systems.
  • Promotes and provides a safe environment per CLR HSE policies.
  • Performs and coordinates inspections on existing electrical sites to ensure safety and code compliance.
  • Generates and closes work orders as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job SummaryThis role will primarily oversee and coordinate operation, maintenance, and construction of Company-owned power infrastructure systems. Current and planned installations include overhead power lines, substations, transformers, reclosures, etc. Secondary responsibilities include coordination of new installations of low voltage distribution within production and disposal facilities as well as maintenance of such equipment at existing facilities.
