CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacist in California for its Long Term Care pharmacy. You will deliver accurate dispensing, maintain pharmacy security, and comply with schedules and DEA/state laws. Qualifications

• Must be a licensed pharmacist in California, active and in good standing.
• Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy preferred.
• IV certification or experience and immunization certification or willingness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of labels and orders.
• Check content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products if required.
• Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Know DEA/state regulations regarding controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during rotation.
• Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
