MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Acute Care assignments in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. The role requires active RN licensure, BLS & ACLS, and LTAC experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent LTAC experience.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EKG readings and Tele-strips reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 LTAC patients.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and families on procedures and illness management.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret telemetry.
• Care for patients with COPD, CHF, A-Fib, pulmonary HTN.
