Job summary
Kindred Hospital Arlington seeks a compassionate registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process across assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing supervisors, and interdisciplinary staff, develop care plans, participate in discharge planning, and help ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
Must hold RN license, BLS; ACLS preferred; knowledge of medications by age and condition; fluent English
Qualifications
- Postsecondary certificate or diploma in nursing.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred.
- RN licensure in state; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care via the nursing process.
- Develop and update care plans with patient and family.
- Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and team.
- Participate in discharge planning process.
- Administer medications with the five rights.
- Supervise and delegate nursing tasks as appropriate.
- Document admissions, assessments, and care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and collaborate with other departments.
