Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a V&V engineering co‑op to stress the design quality of anesthesia systems and work hands‑on with prototype equipment. You will analyze functionality and usability, partnering with development engineers to identify defects before manufacturing.

These individuals work hands‑on with assembled prototype systems using their engineering skillsets to reverse the problem‑solving process to find defects in the product design.

• Able to work for a minimum of 30 weeks Must be willing to relocate to Madison, WI Must be a full time student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electric, Computer or Computer Science Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Desired Characteristics:

• 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (in a 4.0 scale)
• Prior intern, co‑op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing or research experience in the design field
