Ingersoll Rand is seeking an Engineering Technician in Lincolnshire, IL, to provide hands-on support for silicone and other molding processes within a regulated medical device environment. You will assist with process development, mold trials, validations, and continuous improvement while collaborating with Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams.
The role requires an associate degree in engineering technology or related field and 3+ years in silicone or similar molding,
Qualifikationen
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in silicone molding, rubber molding, plastics molding, extrusion, or medical device manufacturing.
Aufgaben
- Support LSR and other molding processes, including equipment setup and operation.
- Assist with New Product Introduction, prototype builds, pilot runs, and process transfers.
- Collect and analyze process data, perform DOE, and document results.
- Support with IQ/OQ/PQ validations and GMP-compliant records.
- Train and coach operators on procedures; support troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Assist with equipment installation, startup, maintenance, and repairs.
- Perform dimensional inspections and precision measurements; document results.
- Contribute to Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
