As an LSET Trader you will research, monitor, and oversee the execution of daily trades with our low latency client base trading US Equities/Options. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level professional. Frequent interaction with traders, quants, operations, support, and senior management teams will be required so communication and collaboration skills are essential. This is a DESK role, previous exposure to electronic trading platforms are a must, the trader will be fielding daily inquiries about algos, smart order routers, and DMA orders. Familiarity with risk monitoring, risk management, and ability to follow escalation procedures are also key components to the role. Market structure knowledge and the ability to work with the exchanges across various FIX and binary protocols to trouble shoot client inquiries. Basic networking/technical knowledge is also a plus as well as experience with VBA.
