Join Valley Metro RPTA as an LRV (Light Rail Vehicle) Inspector and receive a $2,000 Hiring Bonus.

Shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities include inspecting Light Rail Vehicles, performing routine maintenance, preparing inspection reports, and assisting with cleaning activities. This position is safety-sensitive and subject to Valley Metro's Drug & Alcohol Program, requiring drug testing before employment and random testing thereafter.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications, including a high school diploma or G.E.D., one year of relevant experience, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. A valid Arizona Driver's License and successful qualification to operate rail vehicles are required.

Employment is contingent upon passing a physical examination, background check, and pre-employment drug screening. The role involves physical demands such as climbing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
