Job summary

Sycamore Springs Senior Living is seeking a licensed LPN/RN to supervise nursing assistants and provide daily patient care in our assisted living facility. The role includes administering medications, making shift reports, and ensuring availability of medications and supplies.

The position requires an active LPN or RN license and at least 1 year of experience, or the willingness to train the right candidate. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Submit written and oral reports/recommendations about shift activities as required.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies, and equipment; report needs to nursing supervisor.
• Place pharmacy calls to order prescriptions.
• Perform general office duties and pull/prepare patient charts.

LPN/RN Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required or will train right candidate
• Must be licensed as an LPN/RN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
