Washington Department of Corrections is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN4) at the Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW) in Gig Harbor, WA. The full-time, permanent position runs 6:00am–2:30pm with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, supporting health services in a correctional facility.

Requirements include 2 years of LPN experience, WA LPN license, CPR training, and proficiency with EMR and office software for data entry and communication.

Qualificações

• Two years' experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington.
• Training by the American Heart Association in Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Proficient using computer-based programs to schedule, monitor and track patient information, perform data entry and communicate via email.

Responsabilidades

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supports the nursing process and delivers health services in a correctional setting.
• Use tools, techniques, and skills to practice nursing safely and effectively.
• Delegate and assign tasks to other staff as appropriate.
• Self-evaluate and maintain professional nursing conduct at all times.
• Provide effective communication and documentation.
• Administer medications and provide competent patient care.
