Job summary

Stafford Creek Corrections Center in Aberdeen, WA, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse 4 to support nursing care under RN supervision. The role focuses on applying the nursing process and delivering health services to incarcerated individuals in a correctional setting.

Schedule is 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with weekends off. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within the Department of Corrections.

Qualifications

• Initial and continuous unencumbered licensure in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Two years’ expierence working as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Training by the American Heart Association in Healthcare Provider CPR; proficient with computer-based programs to schedule, monitor and track patient information.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent patient care as delegated by the RN.
• Assist with treatments, dressing changes, monitor vital signs and minor procedures.
• Evaluate and carry out orders from licensed practitioners.
• Provide emergency medical care, including CPR.
• Delegate tasks to other nursing staff and supervise them.
