Job summary

Cherry Blossom Health & Rehab is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our Georgia-based team. You will administer treatments, monitor patient skin conditions, and document progress under physician orders, while communicating closely with the nursing leadership and care team.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to Medicare documentation, and collaboration with physicians to support timely updates and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Organizational and prioritizing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal communication, both spoken and written.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor skin problems and treat as ordered by physician.
• Administer and record all treatment medications.
• Chart patient progress, ailments, medication, symptoms and observations.
• Provide reports to the Director of Nursing to support updates and actions.
• Identify and manage wounds and skin lesions (e.g., pressure ulcers).
• Maintain communication with attending physicians.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Follow Medicare documentation procedures.
