LCB Senior Living, LLC is seeking licensed practical nurses for on-site, as-needed coverage at Suffield by the River. The Wellness Nurse will support the Resident Care Director, supervise resident care associates, monitor health needs, and participate in state-compliant documentation and on-call duties.

You will administer medications, assist with care plans, and contribute to community marketing efforts while ensuring high-quality resident care and infection control adherence.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Minimum high school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Two years of geriatric or health care experience required.
• Current LPN or RN license in the state of employment.

Responsabilités

• Promote the Residence mission and values with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Grow community occupancy by engaging with potential residents and families.
• Assist with evaluation of resident needs and service plan development per state rules.
• Supervise daily work assignments of resident care associates.
• Assess resident issues and discuss with ED, family, and MD as appropriate.
• Ensure staffing coverage and incident reporting; coordinate with Safety Committee as needed.
• Administer topical and oral medications and injections as allowed by regulation.
• Provide support in emergencies and respond to assignment questions.
