Job summary

GateWay at River City is seeking a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to join our Clinical Team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while supporting residents’ health, safety, and well-being.

In this role you’ll manage medication orders, administer treatments, coordinate admissions/discharges, educate residents and families on care plans, and provide friendly, professional service to residents and teams. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LPN license in good standing.
• Healthcare experience, preferably in senior living.
• Two or more years working with seniors is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Manage medication orders and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate care by completing admissions, assessments, transfers, and discharges.
• Follow up with service providers to ensure resident needs are met.
• Educate and support residents and families on care plans and health needs.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and families.
• Support and oversee QMAs and CNAs, assisting with resident care as needed.
