Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for weekend shifts. The Weekend Warrior role offers part-time hours, a pay rate of $28–$32.01 per hour, and a sign-on bonus up to $3,000.

You will administer medications, provide resident care, and support the nursing team. Located within The McGuire Group, this CMS 5-Star facility emphasizes quality care and teamwork.

Formación

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) with NYS license is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric population preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and infection control.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor residents and communicate changes to providers or supervisors.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend Warrior
Rate: $28- $32.01/hour (depending on experience)
Sign-on Bonus- Up to $3,000
Shift: Part-Time
Schedule: Weekends, 7 am- 7:30 pm
Incentive Pay: Additional 13.5 hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies
• Administer medications, treatments, enteral feedings, and IV therapies within the LPN scope of practice
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to providers, supervisors, and responsible parties
• Accurately document care, treatments, observations, and medication administration
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care
• Maintain up-to-date resident care information and communicate pertinent information during shift changes
• Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of medication administration, infection control, and resident care practices
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
