Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Arizona is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN) to provide high-quality resident care in a senior living community. You will administer medications, participate in care planning, and collaborate with physicians, families, and staff to support residents’ health and comfort.

The role emphasizes clinical documentation, safety, and quick response to emergencies. A valid nursing license, CPR/First Aid, and a background check are required.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid LPN or RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a senior living environment preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required.
  • Must pass a criminal background clearance before starting work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, eMAR and related software.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for medication administration for residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
  • May be responsible for admissions of new residents including admission assessments and documentation.
  • Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
  • May be responsible for clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the director's direction.
  • Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
  • Notify physicians and/or family members of any changes in residents' health and provide proper documentation.
  • Respond quickly to all emergencies.
  • Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
  • Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.
