Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to administer medications for residents in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company guidelines. You will participate in admissions assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate clinical tracking as directed.

• Licensed Practical Nurse and/or Registered Nurse with a valid license in good standing.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a senior living environment preferred.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration for residents per Federal & State regulations and company guidelines.
• May handle admissions and complete admission assessments and documentation.
• Prepare long-term care/service plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain documentation and notify physicians or family of health changes.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with staff and other departments.
• Provide health-related consultations and education to residents and staff.

• 11AM - 7PM Saturday - Monday

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.

• Must be aLicensed Practical Nurse and/or Registered Nurse holding a valid nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a senior living environment preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Must pass a criminal background clearance before beginning work
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, eMAR and other related software
