Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking a licensed nurse to support our senior living community. You will administer medications, perform admissions assessments, and contribute to the creation of care plans to meet residents' needs.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN or RN license, has at least 1 year of senior living experience, and is certified in First Aid and CPR. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and staff while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with valid license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a senior living environment preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Must pass a criminal background clearance before beginning work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, eMAR and other related software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications for residents per regulations and guidelines.
• May handle admissions assessments and documentation.
• Develop acute and long-term care or service plans.
• Clinical system tracking such as wounds or infection control.
• Provide health-related consultations.
• Notify physicians/family of health changes with proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with departments and staff.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• May handle discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation.

Job Description

• Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provides proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be aLicensed Practical Nurse and/or Registered Nurse holding a valid nursing license in good standing.
