Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Saint Cloud VA Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct care to Veterans in Primary Care and ICC. The LPN will perform novice-level nursing activities, support procedures, deliver education, document care, and assist the RN or Provider.

The role requires graduation from an approved LPN program, an active LPN license, and English proficiency.

Formación

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the state and/or NLNAC accreditation at the time of completion.
• Active, full, current, and unrestricted license as an LPN in the United States or D.C.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care to Veterans in primary and ICC settings.
• Assist RN/Provider with procedures and documentation.
• Deliver patient education and discharge instructions.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to RN/Provider.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices.
