Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a PACT Licensed Practical Nurse Clinical Associate for the Orlando VA Healthcare System outpatient clinic. The LPN/LVN performs complex nursing tasks under the general review of an RN to support Veterans in primary care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting patient responses, and assisting in care plan development while coordinating with the care team to ensure high-quality, timely care for Veterans.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the state or NLNAC
• Full active, current, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the United States

Responsibilities

• Perform complex practical nursing tasks under RN supervision in outpatient settings
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy
• Monitor patient status and document responses to care
• Assist with development and modification of patient care plans
• Prioritize and coordinate with RN/Provider to ensure safe, effective care
