The Saint Cloud VA Medical Center in Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct physical and emotional care to Veterans in Primary Care and Integrated Care Community. The LPN will perform novice-level nursing activities, support procedures, deliver education, document care, and assist the Registered Nurse or Provider.

Applicants must meet state licensure requirements and English language proficiency.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the state agency.
• Active, full, current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse.
• English language proficiency and ability to communicate in writing and speech.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct physical and emotional care to Veterans in Primary Care and ICC.
• Perform novice-level nursing activities and support procedures.
• Deliver education, document care, and assist the RN or Provider.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications as permitted by policy.
• Observe patient conditions and report changes to RN/MD-DO.
• Assist in emergency procedures and ensure patient safety.
