U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for primary care to provide patient care, administer medications, and participate in ongoing health promotion. You will monitor patients, document responses, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to optimize care delivery.

Responsibilities include patient education, vital signs monitoring, and supporting emergency procedures when needed. A strong team orientation and adherence to nursing standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the United States.
• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• U.S. citizenship or qualifying exemption per VA policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with geriatric, psychiatric, and medical problems.
• Perform nursing duties including administering medications and treatments.
• Observe and document patient condition and response to treatment.
• Assist in emergency procedures and resuscitation as directed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Coordinate with RN/MD to orient/train staff and ensure quality care.
• Prepare and document prescribed medication administration per policy.
