Job summary

Bemidji VA Clinic seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide hands-on nursing care to Veterans with diverse physical, mental, behavioral, and psychological needs. You will administer medications, support treatment plans, and work with RNs and physicians to ensure compassionate, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved practical or vocational nursing program.
• Active, full, current, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the United States.
• English proficiency required by policy and VA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Veterans with diverse needs under RN/MD supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications.
• Collaborate with RNs and providers to orient/train less experienced staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety and dignity in care.
