Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide patient-focused care in a physician’s clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, performing phlebotomy, administering medications and vaccines, and handling prior authorizations as needed.

Must have LPN license and BLS certification, with at least an associate degree or equivalent; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent; High School grad required.
• LPN license required; BLS certification required.
• Experience with patient care and basic clinical procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide quality patient-focused care in a physician’s clinic.
• Place patients in examining room and ensure their comfort.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Obtain insurance prior authorizations for medications and communicate changes to providers/patients.
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines, PPE usage, and safety regulations.
