Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift in a physician’s clinic. You will perform patient intake, obtain vitals, and assist with examinations and procedures under provider direction.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, specimen collection, medication administration, and counseling patients. Must have LPN license and BLS CPR, with strong patient-care focus in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure is required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient-focused care in a physician’s clinic.
• Take patient intake, record vitals and document information.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments and minor office procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and laboratory tests as required.
• Obtain insurance prior authorizations for meds and communicate changes to providers and patients.
