Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited school or program of practical nursing.
• Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio.
• Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course.
• Basic Life Support Provider.
• State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse settings.
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel using Ohio Nurse Practice Act criteria.
• Communicates assessment findings to appropriate team members via referrals and care conferences.
• Participates in process improvement activities to achieve measured quality and patient safety.
• Supports resource management to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
