Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, an active LPN license with BLS, and potential ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications based on department. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
