Baptist Health - Central Alabama is recruiting an experienced LPN for Urology at UAB Medicine Urology. The role provides direct, individualized patient care under RN supervision, following the Nursing Care Plan and hospital standards.
The LPN administers medications, communicates patient status to the RN, and may participate in employee health screenings as assigned. Required are a High School diploma or equivalent, active LPN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by department.

The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
