Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama is seeking an LPN PRN to deliver direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of an RN on a Med/Surg unit. The role includes medication administration, reporting patient changes, and participation in employee health screenings as needed.

Required: active LPN license, BLS, and ability to work both independently and within a team. Strong MS Office familiarity and organizational skills are expected.

Highlights:

Summary: The LPN shall be responsible for direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN. This individual shall provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures. The LPN will be responsible for administration of medications, report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN. For the LPN within Employee Health, the individual will be responsible for new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience:

Education / Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.

License / Certification:

Active LPN license required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc) may be required based upon department assigned
