Job summary

Willapa Harbor Care in Raymond, WA is seeking a Registered Charge Nurse/IP to oversee core programs under the DON, perform infection control duties, and ensure quality resident care.

You must hold a WA LPN license, have supervisory experience in a skilled nursing setting, and be knowledgeable about nursing practices and regulations. The facility offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Washington LPN license without any enforcement action against it.
• Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the DON, you'll assume responsibility and accountability for assigned core programs.
• Responsible for all infection control monitoring, tracking, and prevention.
• Make frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff are following their assigned duties and redirect as necessary.
• Ensure the nursing stations are well organized, cleaned, and stocked appropriately.
• Participate in development and implementation of resident specific care plans.
• Any other tasks as directed by the DON.
• Complete resident treatments as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly med room on unit.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Assess and implement care plans for all residents.
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate care for residents.
