Job summary

The Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to lead a nursing team and oversee daily operations on the unit.

Responsibilities include supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, ensuring quality of care, maintaining compliance with regulations, and coordinating services to support residents' total regimen of care. The role requires leadership and flexibility.

Qualifications

• LPN license current for the state of practice.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility preferred.
• Post-secondary education; ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Regular attendance required.
• Related experience at a level to perform duties.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties including medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Oversee licensed and non-licensed staff; provide counseling and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain ongoing quality assurance for the nursing unit.
• Coordinate nursing services with resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Make independent decisions when warranted.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
