The Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting. You will perform administrative duties, monitor quality, and lead the team with a focus on compassionate resident care.

The role requires an active LPN license, at least 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare, and flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability to manage licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance and flexible scheduling.
• Experience supervising in hospital, long-term care facility, or similar setting preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education and ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsabilités

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
• Day to day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff, including counseling and evaluations.
• Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing unit.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
• Interact tactfully with residents, families, staff, and regulatory personnel.
• Ensure compliance with nursing and medical practices and long-term care guidelines.
