Job summary

Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as Unit Manager on the night shift, for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality nursing services day-to-day in a compassionate geriatric setting.

Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred, and an active LPN license in Georgia

Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is hiring a LPN Unit Manager, Full-time Night Shift work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Unit Manager utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that overall management of the day-to-day clinical operations and the nursing care that is delivered to the residents. Delegates the coordination and implementation of resident clinical services to appropriate staff.

Requirements

• The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
