Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Allentown, PA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to care for a pediatric trach/vent patient at the patient’s home in the Lehigh Valley. You will provide skilled nursing services with a patient-centered approach in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Shifts Available

• Overnights, flexible shift hours, all nights available in Bethlehem
• Dayshifts 7a-4p Tuesday Fridays in Orefield
