Maxim Healthcare in Allentown, PA is hiring for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes overnight throughout the Lehigh Valley. All acuity levels needed! Join a team that finds the right client for you!

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process and providing skilled care per orders, while monitoring patient status and documenting data for accurate diagnoses. Excellent benefits and flexible scheduling accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
