Job summary

State of Georgia seeks an experienced LPN/RN Bridge (11 month) ASN instructor for the Butts and Jasper County Centers. The position is grant-funded, full-time, and focuses on teaching and clinical supervision in a high-demand nursing program.

The candidate must hold a Georgia RN license or eligibility, have a nursing master's degree or progress toward it, and possess at least three years of recent nursing experience in education or related fields.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required; progress toward graduate degree acceptable
• Must be credentialed to satisfy accrediting bodies and hold/seek GA RN license
• A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience within last seven years
• Ability to work flexible hours and in classroom and clinical settings
• Strong knowledge of postsecondary vocational/technical education standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for credited courses and meet program goals
• Evaluate students' progress toward curriculum objectives
• Maintain required documentation and accreditation reports
• Procure and manage supplies and equipment and monitor budget requests
• Ensure safety and compliance in training environments
• Engage in recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts
• Collaborate with staff and faculty to support student success
