Job summary

Homewood Retirement Centers is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct resident care in our Maryland facility. You will administer medications, document care, and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain high-quality services.

You will delegate tasks to Nursing Assistants, participate in care planning, and monitor residents’ physical and psychological needs, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing plan.
• Maintain accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Delegate daily duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders and assist visits as needed.
• Participate in resident care planning and assessments.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and comply with policies.
