Job summary

Homewood Living Frederick seeks an experienced LPN to support residents at our Frederick, MD campus. You will administer medications and treatments, document care, and work to maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort.

As a team leader, you will delegate daily tasks to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides, participate in care planning, monitor residents' needs, and respond promptly to emergencies while upholding confidentiality and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state you will provide care.
• Judgment, initiative and dependability.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provides accurate records of medical and nursing care.
• Assigns daily care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides; monitors delivery of care.
• Transcribes and carries out physicians' orders; assists with physician visits.
• Participates in resident care planning.
• Evaluates residents' physical and psychological needs and responds appropriately.
• Assists with admissions and discharges; supports Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information; adheres to policies.
