The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a patient care unit. The LPN provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN or LIP, using the nursing process and collaborating with patients, families, and the care team.

Required: graduation from a recognized practical nurse program, current Ohio LPN license, and intravenous medication administration certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized practical nurse program.
• Current Ohio LPN license.
• Certification in intravenous medication administration.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care as assigned under the direction of the RN or LIP.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and other members of the patient care team.
• Applies the nursing process and adheres to OSU Wexner Medical Center standards.
