The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an East Tower 9 Licensed Practical Nurse 2 to provide patient care on the Surgical Musculoskeletal unit. The LPN will work under the direction of the RN or LIP, applying nursing processes and collaborating with the patient and family.

Previous patient care experience preferred On going: Maintains current Ohio license and intravenous medication certification. Maintains competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements.

The LPN provides patient care as assigned under the direction of the RN or LIP. The LPN provides care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other members of the patient care team. The LPN administers care utilizing the nursing process and practices within their scope of practice and the standards of the OSUWMC.
