Job summary

PCH Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care and support the patient’s plan of care. You will collaborate with the Registered Nurse and other healthcare professionals to deliver competent, compassionate nursing services.

Responsibilities include performing designated procedures, observing patient status, and communicating changes accurately to the health care team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required or equivalent via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• State criminal background check and Federal checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per patient plan to promote comfort and functional health.
• Assist with examinations and procedures as directed by supervising clinician.
• Observe, document, and report patient concerns and progress promptly.
• Contribute to nursing assessment by collecting and recording data.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Support patient and family education and rehabilitation following teaching plan.
