Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an LPN to join our clinical team in Massachusetts. The role coordinates patient flow, obtains vital signs, and supports physicians during examinations. You will perform nursing duties, document lab results, and ensure accurate patient records.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, immunizations, lab tests, and maintaining clean exam rooms. A MA LPN license and accredited practical nursing program are required, with 3–12 months of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
• Three to twelve months nursing experience.
• License/Certification required: LPN in MA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient flow and prepares patients for examinations.
• Measures vital signs and documents in medical records.
• Supports physicians and staff during clinical procedures.
• Prepares, administers, and documents immunizations and labs as required.
• Triages calls and follows up with patients as directed.
• Retrieves and reviews patient referrals and lab results.
• Maintains clean and stocked examination rooms and ensures supplies.
• Documents prescription calls and refills as directed.
• Establishes recall systems for exams and follow-ups.
• Call patients who miss appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
