Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a day shift in Milford, MA. This non-exempt position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8-hour days, with a 40-hour work week. A signing bonus may be available and final offer varies by experience and internal equity.

The role supports patient flow, vital signs, and procedures within the clinic and hospital setting, ensuring safe, compassionate care and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
• Three to twelve months experience.
• Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
• Current Massachusetts LPN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient flow and prepares patient for examinations and procedures.
• Takes vital signs and documents information in the medical record.
• Cleans and stocks examination rooms and maintains supplies.
• Performs and records basic laboratory results as required.
• Triages medical calls and documents follow-up in the patient record.
• Calls prescriptions and refills as directed and manages recalls for exams.
